Correspondence, articles and speeches, news publication and press releases, and position statements documenting the duties and activities of State Auditor Patricia Anderson. The bulk of the records consist of Anderson's incoming and outgoing correspondence, mainly documenting the auditor's relations with city, county, and local government officials; state and federal senators and representatives; the state attorney general's office; the state's citizens; and various organizations, including the YMCA Youth in Government program. Also included in the records are copies of E-Update, the office's official online news publication, materials from Anderson's service on the Minnesota Volunteer Fire Relief Association Working Group, and position statements covering such financial issues as education foundations, fund balances for cities and counties, use of public funds, investment policies, public pensions and bonds. Anderson was elected as Patricia Anderson Awada in 2002; she became Patricia Anderson in 2004.
